His practice includes all aspects of intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on patent preparation, invalidation and litigation in the fields of communication, electronics, automation and mechanics. Mr. David LIU was admitted to Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics the first year College Entrance Examination was restored in China. He brings a highly skilled background in patent law and engineering to develop winning strategies for clients and has achieved tremendously both in intellectual property career and academically. Since 1998, Mr. David LIU has completed as many as 5,480 patent cases (official statistics until Nov 02 2015, in which there are Qualcomm Incorporated (1,595 cases), Alcatel-Lucent (57 cases), Alcatel-sbell Shanghai (48 cases), Lenovo (34 cases), Apple Inc. As a scholar, Mr. David LIU published a number of papers in ‘China Patents and Trademarks’, ‘Intellectual Property Law Research’, and ‘China Patent Agent’. He translated and published ‘Concise European patent law’ and also took part in editing ‘Beijing High People’s Court Guidelines for Determination of Patent Infringement’. Mr. David LIU was invited to work as a special expert for Beijing High People’s Court.
