Representative Cases Represented the defendant in software copyright litigation filed by a Taiwanese company against six defendants. This case was the first litigation involving software copyright heard by a Mainland Chinese court after the Sino-US Memorandum of Understanding on the Protection of Intellectual Property was signed, which generated a positive social effect. Successfully represented Beijing Nanxun Real Estate Development Co. in the first case accepted by the Supreme People’s Court in a dispute involving a real estate transaction after the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Urban Real Estate Administration was issued. As a guiding case, it is published in The Civil Cases Analysis of The Supreme People's Court, pp. 71-75, August, 1999. Successfully represented Wuhan Commercial Bank in a dispute before The Supreme Court concerning the validity of a loan guarantee. As a guiding case, it is published in The Guidance And Reference for Civil & Business Litigation of The Supreme People’s Court, pp. 281-285, June, 2000. Successfully represented Xiantao Rural Credit Cooperatives before The Supreme People's Court in the dispute concerning a certificate of deposit.
