Mr. Zhang Yubo is a founding partner of B.D.L.International Law Firm (Nanning) . He graduated from the Department of Economic Law at Sichuan University of Science & Engineering in 1997 and obtained his postgraduate degree from the Law School of Sichuan University in 2002. He was granted the Lawyer Qualification Certificate in 1997.

His main practice areas include real estate development and construction engineering, trade, transportation and freight forwarding, corporate restructuring and listing, asset mergers, acquisitions and restructuring, banking and fund business, bankruptcy administration, and general corporate matters. He specializes in civil and criminal litigation.

Mr. Zhang Yubo served as Manager of the Legal Affairs Department at Beihai International Trust & Investment Corporation from 1997 to 2000. In 2002, he founded Guangxi Shengding Law Firm. Since 2006, he has been a full-time lawyer and senior partner at Beijing Dingye (Nanning) Law Firm.

He is a Standing Director of the Guangxi Economic Law Society and a member of the Civil Professional Committee of the Guangxi Lawyers Association.

He has been serving as perennial legal counsel for a number of enterprises and institutions since 2002, including Sinopec Guangxi (including Nanning, Chongzuo and Guigang branches), Guangxi Modern Logistics Group, Guangxi Environmental Protection Investment Group, Nanning Rail Transit Group, Nanning Rail Transit Construction Group, Nanning Rail Transit Operation Group, Hechi Industrial Investment Group, Shenba Group, Changtai Group (real estate), Jinyuan Group (real estate), Uju (China), Huihuang Group, Tencent (Guangxi), Xingyuan Group, Xifu Group (mineral resources), Nanning Construction Engineering Installation, Guangxi Oceanwide Supply Chain Company, Jiangnan Rural Bank, Qingxiu Wanda and Jiangnan Wanda.

He has handled various special legal matters including equity and asset acquisition, credit enhancement and direct investment for asset management companies, as well as company establishment and capital increase and share expansion.

He has successfully represented large-scale trade, financing and import cases for Sinopec affiliates, Guangxi Modern Logistics Group and Guangxi Supply Chain Group; construction contract disputes involving Dongxu, Huaxia, Changtai, Guangxi No.1 Construction Engineering Corporation and Guangdong No.5 Construction Engineering Corporation; more than one thousand commercial housing sales contract disputes; freight forwarding and logistics transportation cases; disputes over corporate equity, partnership shares and investment rights; damage compensation cases arising from preservation measures; joint liability cases involving capital withdrawal by a Yunnan-based group; commercial housing sales agency disputes involving Rongchang and Shengshi Jiye; complex enforcement cases relating to Haifu Mansion and a local entertainment center; and numerous lease disputes over houses, shopping malls, buildings and land. He has also handled a large number of bank non-performing loan recovery cases and private lending disputes, recovering huge economic losses for his clients.

In criminal defense, he has successfully achieved acquittal for clients in major cases including the corruption case involving Mr. Li, Chairman of a central enterprise construction company, the kidnapping case involving Mr. Fang, and the corruption and bribery case involving Mr. Liu, Chairman of a passenger transport company. He has also handled numerous cases resulting in non-prosecution, exemption from arrest and suspended sentences.
